EPSOM BAPTIST CHURCH.
WELCOMES NEW MINISTER
The congregation of Epsom Baptist Church tendered a welcome to the new minister, the Rev. A. W. Bean, late of Melbourne. Air. E. R. Jaines presided, and greetings were given by the Rev. E. N. Goring, vice-president of the Auckland Auxiliary of the Baptist Union; Rev. A. W. McMillan, Green Lane Congregational Church; Mr. Bistow, C.E. Union; Mr. S. Barry, and the Rev. J. W. Kemp, of the Baptist Tabernacle. Greetings were also telegraphed from various parts of New Zealand. The new minister has had 22 years service in Baptist churches in Victoria, and was for some time secretary of the Melbourne | City Mission.
