WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.
MACKENZIE—LORAM.
St. Luke's Church, Remuera, was the ' netting for a pretty wedding on Wednesday evening, when the bride was Miss Ethel Lorain, youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. G. Lorain, of Coromandel, and the bridegroom Mr. Donald Mackenzie, of Ross-shire, Scotland. The Rev. Mr. Thompson officiated. The bride was a graceful figure in navy blue crepe de chine, with knife-pleated panels each side, and finely-pleated royal blue georgette vest, bound with biue suede and gold. She wore a blue hat with apricot velvet ribbon and large shaded flower. The bride's niece, Miss M. Loram, was bridesmaid, her gown being of vieux rosei silk marocain, trimmed with beige crepe de chine, felt hat to tone. Mr. W. Loram gave his sister away. Mr. Harold Buckley was best man. A reception was held at Williamson Street, Epsom, the bride's sister, Mrs. H. Buckley, receiving the guests in a navy corded repp faced with pastel blue, hat to tone. Mrs. Porter, sister of the bride, wore true blue silk trimmed with grey chiffon. Mrs. Loram, light blue coat frock, geranium crinoline hat. The house was nicely decorated in yellow and gold chrysanthemums, a large gold and white wedding bell being placed-over the bridal couple.
