TO-DAY'S ELECTIONS. MAXGONUI COUNTY. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) KATTALA, this day. Mr. A. H. Long was to-day re-elected chairman ot the Mangonui County Council for the ninth term. Congratulatory references were made to the good progress and this year's favourable credit balance of £4500 as compared with many thousands of pounds' liability eight years ago. Whahgarex. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. Mr. Luke Webb, of Helena Bay, has been re-elected unopposed to the county chairmanship. Thames. (By Telegrap^i —Own Correspondent.) THAMES, this day. Mr. Henry Lowe has been re-elected chairman of the Thames County, unopposed, for the eighth term. He stated the county finance was in a flourishing condition, there being a credit balance of between £3000 and £4000. W AITEMAT A. The annual meeting of the Waitemata County Council was held to-day, when Mr. A. M. Laing was elected chairman.
