CHRISTCHURCH HOUSE THIEF

TRAVELLED AS A TINKER.

CHRISTCHURCH, this day.

Henry Patrk* Moore, aged 38, pleade3 guilty in the Police Court to-day to eight charges of breaking and entering various houses early this month, and committing theft.

The police said accused travelled round as a tinker. To gain entrance he broke leadlights over the doors or windows and then released the catch in the door. In all he had taken £100 worth of goods and jewellery from eight houses. He was caught in the act at a Sydenham house.

He was committed for sentence.
