By simulating seizures while she was on Pakatoa Island, Josephine Anna Monthly, aged 40, frightened the other inmates and had her sentence of two years remitted. She was in Court again to-day, however, for her third statutory conviction for drunkenness and her eighth breach of a prohibition order. She was sent back to Pakatoa for twelve months.
