_Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bull, of Gisborae, are visitors to Auckland.
Mr. and Mrs. P. Rylance, of Sydney, are through passengers on the AorangL Mr. S. Waldron, of Honolulu, was a passenger for Auckland on the Aorangi yesterday. Mr. O. H. C. Dymond. acting warrant supply officer of H.M.s. Diomede, will return to England by the Aorangi. Mr. J. W. Collins, Secretary of Industries and Commerce, arrived from Wellington by the Limited this morning. Archdeacon Carr, vicar of Holy Trinity, Greymouth, has accepted the nomination to the Parish of Holy Trinity, Picton.
Mr. C. E. Macmillan, M.P. for Tauranga, was a passenger from Wellington to Frankton by the Limited this morning.
Mr. J. Cinnandale (Waiheke Island), Mr. J. B. Horwood (Wellington), and Mr. H. E. Gaze (Hamilton) are at the Commercial Hotel.
Colonel Duffy, stock and station agent, of, Perth, Western Australia, and Mrs. Duffy, are returning on the Aorangi from a pleasure trip to the United States.
Mr. Len. Mills, of Hansford and Mills, contractors for the Auckland War Memorial Museum, was a passenger to Auckland by the Limited express this morning.
Staying at the Star Hotel are Mr. W. Rowe, of Christchurch, Mr. C. H. Callis, »f Sydney, Mr. 0. McElroy, of Feilding, Mr. W. Loekie, of Hastings, and Mr. D. A. Mcintosh, of Wellington. Among the passengers on the Aorangi, en route to Australia is Mr. Dick Bell and family, who have been engaged to appear in the production of "Good News" at St. James' Theatre, Sydney. The Hon. J. A. Young, Minister of Health, who is to represent the Government at the opening of the Auckland Advertising Exhibition to - morrow, arrived by the Limited from Wellington to-day. e
Central Hotel guests include: Mr. and Mrs. R, C. Scott (Nelson), Mr. F. Scott Millar (Wellington), Mr. J. Tavlor (Eltham), Mr. A Provist (Sydney), "Mr. H. Symons and Mr. J. Symons (New Plymouth).
Mr. F. T. M. Kissel, chief electrical engineer of the Public Works Department, is visiting Auckland. He is accompanied by Mrs. Kissel, and thev will leave for Wellington by the Limited express this evening.
Mr. W. Appleton, managing director of the Charles Haines Advertising Agency, Ltd., arrived in Auckland by the Limited express from Wellington this morning to attend the opening of the Auckland Advertising Exhibition. Messrs. J. M. and J. W. May, directors of one of England's largest wholesale clothing manufacturing firms, arrived at Auckland yesterday on the Aorangi, in the conrse of a world tour. Thev will spend several weeks in New Zealand. Dr. T. Hughes, medical officer of health for Central and South Auckland districts, left for Hamilton 'his morning to make arrangements for the Health Department's display at the Waikato Winter Show, which opens on May 29. Mr. L. Harris, managing director of Messrs. Bing, Harris and Company, arrived at Auckland yesterday on the Aorangi. He visits New Zealand every two years. Mr. Harris, who will spend a few days here before going to Dunedin, is at the Northern Club.
