ESCAPED MURDERER.
Captured By New Zealand Constable. REVOLVER HAD TO BE USED. APIA, May 8. Constable Hollis, of New Zealand, and a settler, Mr. Gardiner, recaptured the escaped murderer, Ah Mau, yesterday morning. He was armed with a knife and made a desperate resistance and had to be shot with a revolver before he was subdued. His wound is not serious.
