WAIKATO DIOCESE.
SYNOD VACANCIES FILLED. (By T^legrftiVh.—Own Correspo^nd^o/t.) HAMILTON, this day. At a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Diocese of Waikato, Archdeacon Cowie was elected to the vacancy on the General Synod caused by the Rev. Harvie's resignation, Mr. L. B. Gilfillan elected a member of the Standing Committee, and Mr. F. Harris was appointed to fill a vacancy on the Diocesan Board. Nominations for the next Synod close in the first week of July.
