TRANSACTIONS ON 'CHANGE New Zealand Breweries had business this morning at 46/6, thus holding the rise noted on Tuesday. Further sales were made of Australasian Bank right® at £3, and for the shares £14 2/6 was offered. New Zealand Insurance also held the slight improvement, transactions agam talcing plate at 41/. A sale also occurred in Auckland Gas Company preference shares at 16/2. Inquiry was made at the noon call for Auckland City 5% per cent debentures at £98 10/, and all issues of 4Vt per cent War could be placed at £97 10/. Holden Motor shares aire wanted at 29/9* with no quoted sellers. '
