TE AWAMUTU, this day,
Fire destroyed a seven-roomed farmhouse on Pirongia Road early on Saturday afternoon. It wan * owned by Messrs. Collins and Downes, and occupied by Mr. W. H. Morris. farm manager, who had only left home half an hour earlier to visit Te Awaniutu. The building was insured tor £7">o and its contents for £100. Both the owners and the occupier are heavy losers.
