MARKETING WHEAT.
FARMERS AND MILLERS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The following statement has been issued by Mr. W. W. Miilholland, chairman of the Wheat Committee: "In a communique issued on April 19 the flourmillers of New Zealand informed the farmers that they had made an agreement to pay 5/7 on trucks for next year's Tuscan wheat. Members of the Wheat Committee considered this announcement and decided to recommend the growers not to make contracts at this low price, but to await the committee's proposals which will be ready shortly. The committee draws particular attention to this direct evidence of buying organisation on the part of the millers, which is given by this announcement, and stresses the great need of action to meet it on the part of growers.
