CRICKET.

TONGAN ELEVEN.

In an exciting match yesterday afternoon the Tongan Methodist College cricket eleven defeated the Te Ante team, organised by Mr. E. C. Beale, by a margin of 28 runs. Against the rather unorthodox bowling of the visitors—the players have little or no "run" —the local 6ide could score only 108. Keen fielding by the Tongans was a feature of the innings. In their turn at the wicket the visitors scored 136, thus winning a highly enjoyable game.
