CONTRIBUTIONS IN SOUTH.

WELLINGTON, Friday.
The returns available for the Poppy Day collection show that £812 11/7 was contributed, but amounts to come in will probably bring the total up to last year's figure, which was £1087,
CHRISTCHURCH, Friday.
The sum of £800 was raised by the Poppy Day appeal in Christchurch today. There are still returns to come in, and it is expected the total will reach about £950.
DUNEDIN, Friday.
The Poppy Day collection on' the Dunedin streets totalled £480. Returns from some of the suburbs are not available.
