J. Moorhouse, wen present. MoorfTouse attempted to low r .lis 100 metres backstroke rpcord in 1.21 2-5 but failed, his time being 1.22 2-5. Miss Miller swam BSoyds in 13.54 3-5. easily beating the existing record of 14 t 2-5 held by Miss V. Wj ond (Auckland). Miss Miller finished st ngly. ,
