Dr. G. M. Bliekensderfer, a prominent Denver physician, travelled at 9.45 a.m. in a Colorado National Guard 'plane, piloted by Lieutenant Danny Kearns, for a 700-mile non-stop flight to the bedside of Mrs. John McDaniel, daughter of William Lyle Reid, Denver, broker, who was critically ill at her home in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
