Railway Worker Shot By Police; 20 Wounded.

(Received 2 p.m.) DELHI, March 28. A strike of 15.000 employees in th* railway workshops at Lilloah. jnst outside of Calcutta, took a serious tun w-hen 10,000 strikers marched to the business quarters of the city and blocked the street outside the railway offices.
Lpon the agent declining to eonced* the principle of full pay while there was no work done, the crowd returned to Howrah, where they atoned trains and the loyal workers, and then lav on the rails. The police fired, one man being killed and 20 others being wounded.
