PUBLIC TRUST OFFICE.
Particulars of the loan transactions of the Public Trust Office and new business reported during February are supplied by the Prime Minister. New loans totalling £142.795 were completed, making a total of £2,296.267 for the eleven months of the financial year. Further new loans gi anted amounted to £97,359. making the totjl of new loans awaiting settemeiit £GC-0,557. New estates and funds to the value of
£513,560 were accepted for administration, making the total of new business for the eleven months £5.923,095. Four hundred and forty-nine new wills appointing the Public Trustee executor were deposited by testators for safe custody, the total nowheld being 57,519.
