DISTRICT HALL
OPENED AT RUAKAKA

WHANGAREI, this day.
Twenty years ago the people of Hie district erected a hall at Central Ruakaka, but owing to the fluctuations of the gum-winning population and the deviation of road building it fell into disuse. Recently Mr. S. W. Ruddell bought the building and re-erected it with considerable additions on a : : ite near the post office, where it will serve the needs of the district.
The hall was declared open last evening in the presence of over SO' l >»le fri>in all parts of the county.
