NOVICE STAKES, of lOOsovs. Six furlongs. (Weight-for-age.) 2—PATEAROA—T. Green 1 I—WAR WINGS 2 4—BIGH SOCIETY 3 Also started: Agreeable, Merry Mixture, Puraeful. Agreeable and Purseful were left at the barrier. Patearoa ran through nicely when the straight was reached, to win by a length and a-half, three-quarters of a length between second and third.
