LATE MR. F. H. ALEXANDER.

The interment took place at the Anglican Cemetery, Howick, yesterday, of Mr. Frederick Henry Alexander, Canon Mason conducting the service. Mr. Alexander was the eldest son of Major Alexander, a well-known pioneer of Taranaki. He carried on extensive farming for about 25 years in that district, and then moved itd Bay of Plenty. About 12 years ago Mr. Alexander retired, ana came to Howick to live. He was 70 years of age. Deceased is survived by Mrs. Alexander, two brothers, and a sister.
