CHILD POISONED.
EATING SYRUP TABLOIDS.
ILLNESS ENDS FATALLY.

A child of two years, Mary Fisher, who lived with her parents at Taupo. died there yesterday as the result of eating syrup tabloids which contained poison. The child becamc violently ill, and a doctor who was called in* did everything possible for her, but without avail.
