JEWELLERY AND GOODS.

CHARGES ADMITTED. (By TelegMiph.—Press / Nation.) WELLINGTON, this day. Two burglaries involving the theft of jewellery and goods to the value of £558 from the Remington and Roneo Agency and William Burd were admitted by a clerk named -John Charles Cannon, aged 22. Goods valued at £226 were taken from Remiugton's and the jewellery valued at £302 from Burd's. All but £10 worth had been recovered.

Accused was committed to Supreme Court for sentence.
