INDECENT ASSAULT.
YOUNG MAN PLEADS GUILTY.
Arthur Roparta Colson Wynyard, a young man, for whom Mr. Fin'lay appeared, was charged with committing a most serious offence upon a youth, and there were two alternate charges of indecent assault. To the latter the accused pleaded guilty, and not guilty to the more serious offence. He was remanded for sentence till Saturday. Seaman in Dock. Charged with indecently assaulting a little girl of nine years, John Charles Kempthorne (27) pleaded not guilty. Mr. Matthews appeared for accused, Mr. Hubble prosecuting for the Crown. The offence is alleged to have occurred »t the home of the little girl at Northcote, where the accused was, at the time, staying.
