PROPOSED REDUCED OUTPUT
Advice from America is to the effect that cotton print cloth manufacturers in the south have generally agreed to reduce their output IS per cent in view ol the danger or' a crisis from the current overproduction. After a meeting of the print cloth group of the Cotton lextile institute on December 10 most of the representatives present indicated their intention of closing down their plants, beginning on December 23, at noon each l<rida\ toi the rest of the week. There has already been a reduction of the output m the -New England mills, those at J) all Ri\er manufacturing fabric out of print cloth \ains having restricted production to less thaD 50 per cent of capacity.
