EXPLOSION IN SCHOOL.
BOY SEVERELY INJURED. SCIENCE P.OOM EXPERIMENTS. (By Telegraph.—Press .* -.-ociation.) PAHIATUA, this day. Leslie Wilfred Murphy, aged 15, son of Mrs. W. E. Murphy, of Tyndall Street, Pahiatua, was admitted to the Public Hospital suffering from severe bounds to his abdomen. An explosion occurred during the progress of experiments with sodium in the science room of the District High School, and the boy was struck by flying glass.
