Notice is hereby given that it is intended pursuant to the Rangitaiki Land Drainage Act, 1910, and its amendments, to make and levy a special rate to meet interest and sinking fund 011 capital for the period from April 1, 1927, to March .",1, 1925, on the unimproved value of all laud within tin- district constituted under the said Act. The amount of such rate shall be payable in one sum 011 the Ist day of March, The Valuation Roll of the district is open for inspection at the office of the Collector of Rates, Chief Drainage Engineer's Office, 5, Law Court Buildings, High Street, Auckland, and a copy of the same may be inspected at the office of the Chief Drainage Engineer at Thornton, near Whakatane, af all times at which those offices are open for the transaction of public business.
