SENSATION IN VICTORIA,

MELBOURNE, February 3.

In connection with the death of Mrs. Ethel Griggs, whose body- was exhumed at Omeo, a town 250 miles from Melbourne, it i£ learned that Mr. Ronald Griggs, her husband, who was arrested on a charge of murder, was not, as first reported, an ordained minister, but a probationer with two years' service. llp was suspended by the Methodist Conference immediately the police commenced their investigations.

The case has created an immense sensation in the Omeo district, where for some time past the Griggs' domestic affairs have been the subject of much discussion.
