A commercial traveller from Hamilton, whose name was suppressed, was convicted to-day and fined £5, with costs fl 0/6, including medical fee 10/6, for Wing been drunk wbUe in charge of a sir.
A doctor aaid accused was sufficiently under the influence of liquor to render him incapable of having proper control of the car.
Accused, who said he was not well when he left Hamilton, admitted haying fcad three drinks. He ran into a fence in the vicinity of the Commercial Hotel.
