WOMEN" .JUSTICES PRESIDE

For the first time in Auckland women justices this morning conducted the Children's Court without magisterial assistance. .Mrs. X. K. Ferner and Miss s - L- -Jackson presided. The only case calling for attention was that of three young children whose parents were stated to be unable to give them proper attention. The bench committed ' llum to the care of the superintendent of the Child Welfare Department.
