DAIRY CATTLE BREEDERS.

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., this day. The executive of the Dairy Cattle Breeders' Federation at Feilding last evening discussed the importation into the Dominion of Australian dairy cattle. The request from New South Wales, that the embargo on the importations of cattle be lifted from parts of Australia free from disejtfse, was considered, and it was decided to leave the matter in the hands of the Department of Agriculture. The meeting also discussed at length the question of "scrub" bulls, having received from the Livestock Division of the Department of Agriculture in Victoria an outline of a scheme there to help the farmers to secure pedigree bulls for their herds. It was resolved to forward a copy of the letter to the various breed societies.
