TRANSACTIONS ON 'CHANGE.
Colonial Sugar firmed in price to-day, buyers offering £55. but sellers asked an extra 20/. New Zealand Farmers' Fertiliser are a little better since the annual report was issued, buyers now offering 81/. but sellers ask 857.
Hikurangi Coal preference issue sold again at 8/ to-day, and all other coal shares were wanted at late rates, an extra 3d being offered for Taupiris.
Soldiers' Inscribed Loan sold at £101 2/6, and buyers offered £103 for Mount Eden six per cent Loan, while for Harbour Board six per cent, £103 10/ was the price quoted by buyers.
Ohinemuri Mines sold at 6/11 and 7/ this morning.
