CUSTOMS REVENUE.
A slight increase over the figures for the same month last year is shown in this month's returns. The approximate net customs revenue for the past month is £181,108, as compared with £175,573 last Januarv.
Beer duty for the month totalled about £9733, compared with £12,159 last vear.
Business done this afternoon is not expected to make a very great difference.
