SYDNEY, this day,
The Industrial Union of Australia at Broken Hill has prepared a new log to be served on mining companies, in which they claim a week of 30 hours for underground and 35 hours for surface workers on the basis of a fi%*e-day week with a minimum wage of £7 weekly.
