LONDON. November 17.
The "Times" learns that as the result of an interprovincial conference the Canadian Government is embarking upon a new and unrestricted migration scheme with Britain, based on nomination firstly by friends, and secondly by descriptive nomination, by which an employer applies for workers whom he wishes to settle in Canada.
This involves a large increase in the migration staff in London. Responsible persons, organisations and emigration societies, provided they are able to settle the migrants, can carry out the bulk of the nomination until May 5, 1925.
