LORRY RUNS OVER BANK.

LANDS ON BEACH BELOW. TWO MEN ESCAPE LIGHTLY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANG AREI, this day. A motor lorry driven by Mr. A. Parkinson, who was accompanied by Mr. F. Baker, was turning a bend in Barrier Road, Kohukohu, yesterday afternoon when it suddenly swerved and %ent over an embankment. It fell 40 feet, and landed ou the sea beach.

Both men were thrown out of the lorry half-way down the cliff, and both escaped with minor cuts and bruises.

The front portion of the lorry was badly damaged.
