STEAMER CHANGES HANDS.
KIWI'S NEW OWNERS
The sale of the small steamer Kiwi by the Devonport Steam Ferry Company to Messrs. Bradney and Binns, launch owners, is announced.
Originally known, as the Weka, the Kiwi was launched in 1894. After several years trading out of Onehunga to Waiuku the vessel was 6old to the Northern Company, who owned her until her sale to Messrs, McCallum Bros., shingle .perchants. In, the ' •hingle trade she was known as the Kerepeelii. When purchased by the Devonport Ferry Company the steamer was given her present name. 9
The Kiwi is a vessel of 79 tons net and was built at Auckland.
