EX-KAISER'S SISTER.
Hoodwinked Time To Marry Young Russian. HIS FRENCH LOVER SPLITS. LONDON, November 3. Lively interest continues to be shown in Europe in the approaching wedding of the ex-Kaiser's widowed sister. Princess Victoria, of Schaumbourg-Lippe, to the young Russian, Alexander Zoubkoff. This interest has been intensified by Wilhelm's protest against the union, and a sensational sequel, which has been provided in Paris newspapers. These journals are giving great prominence to the Princess' romance, of the revelations of a mannequin known as Suzette. This girl claims that she shared the affections of Zoubkoff, fed, clothed and housed him on one of the numerous occasions when he was destitute. She says she met the Russian in April, when he did not possess a farthing and when his clothes were in rags. The girl sorrowfully admits that she was attracted by the good looks of the young man and magnetised by the tale of his escapades. She invited him to share her apartments.' Zoubkoff told her of his meeting with the Princess. He used to laugh at "this grotesque old woman" and amuse Suzette with his satires on how he and the Princess used to walk, with their arms linked, on the banks of the Rhine by moonlight. The girl says that one day Zoubkoff rushed into her room waving a letter from the Princess. He cried: "She wants me to marry her. She has had a rejuvenation operation and although she is 63 years old she only looks 30." Suzette says she was intensely angry. Berlin newspapers state that the youthful appearance of the Princess a few months before the engagement was announced was the subject of frequent facetious comment in society. The Prinl cess now admits she paid a Spanish doctor handsomely for rejuvenation treatment. This consisted of remaining in a dar' room for two months while her wh body was enveloped in a thick eu stance which impeded her movement?. She was massaged and a serum was regularly injected. When the wrappings and bandages were removed, so entirely had she been transformed that she fainted when she looked in a mirror.
