There was a prompt aftermath to the developments in connection with the Religious Exercises in Schools Bill in the House of Representatives this afternoon when Mr. Hudson (Motueka), who had during the debate on the bill given notice to move an amendment favouring the Introduction of tho Nelson system into the schools, asked an urgent question of the Minister of Education. Mr. Hudson wished the Minister to ,*ytt whether he was prepared this ses- •»■ to bring down legislation to make Provision, for giving facilities for the introduction of tho Nelson system into th* schools T "The question is on© which will have ■* bo dealt with by Cabinet," replied the Hon.
