Todd. of Wellington. has been nominated by the Ashburion Presbytery as moderator of the General Assembly for 1925. Mr. Albert Spencer, president of the Auckland Employers' Association, was a passenger for Wellington by the limited express last night. Dr. and Mrs. Blythman, of London. Mr. and Mrs. H. -Telhert. of Adelaide, and Mr. and Mrs. G. Harvey, of Adelaide, are at the Hotel Stonehurst. Dr. F. A. Lamb, a son of Mr. and Mrs. A. S. J. Lamb, of Pencarrow Avenue, Mount ±.den. has earned the degree of F.BX.S., Edinburgh. Among those at the Central Hotel are: Mr. and Mrs. J. Burke (Sydney), Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Wilson. Mr. E. C. Creagh, Mr. S. Turner (Wellington), Mr. "j. Caldwell (Hamilton). Mr. W. J. Holdsworth. chairman of the Auckland Electric Power Booard. will leave by the limited express this evening for Wellington, where he will attend a meeting of the Local Bou:?s" Loans Board, of which he is a member. He will return to Auckland on Saturday. Mr. Justice Frazer and members of the Arbitration Court leave to-night for Hamilton, where they will hear compensation cases for two days, starting tomorrow. Later they go to Dunedin. where the Court gits on October 21. and there will be a sitting Pα Inrercarjrill on 25. Star Hotel guests include Mr. C. H. Flannigan, of Christehurck, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Burnett, of Wellington, Mr. and Mrs. J. Thompson, of Wellington. Mr. M. Tedcastle, of London, Mr. W. T. Royal, and Mr. G. Corbridge, of Palmerston Xorth and Mr. H. E. Davis, of Masterton.
