DROUGHT BREAKS.
IN NEW SOUTH WALES. SYDNEY, September 23. General rains have fallen throughout the State, extending even to the farwestern areas. Further heavy falls are anticipated and the end of the drought is apparently in sight.
VICTORIAN WHEAT BELT. NOT GBEATLY BENEFITED. (Beceived 12.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Although good rains are reported from many parte of New South Wales, the Victorian wheat belt, on the other side of the border, has not benefited to any great extent.
