AUSTRALIA LEADS. LONDON, September 16. Referring to the statement of the British Broadcasting Corporation that it would conduct a series of experiments in October, which might determine the date of the inauguration of an Empire broadcasting scheme, Mr. Norman Edwards, editor of "Popular Wireless" and "Modern Wireless," in a statement in the "Daily News," writes:— "If the company is technically behind other stations, why does it not admit it? Despite the announcement that a new series of experiments will be attempted in October, the fact remains that Australia haa given U3 the lead."
