We thank 'those to whose courtesy in replying we are indebted. FAIRY FLOWER FAD. Finding the fairy in the flower is the latest fad of the WDman of fashion, and a very charming fad it is. At a West End restaurant recently, a fair-haired woman, in a leaf green dress, showed an example of the new mode. ■ On her right J shoulder she wore a . . wonderful silken i mauve orchid, but > it was n °t an ordi--1 nary orchid at all

tThe centre of the llower was a golden - haired little fairy, and the stem was the fairy's slim ._ green-clothed legs. ( Another example of the fashion was displayed on the pink chiffon frock worn by an American girl at Covent Garden for the first night of "Turandot." At either side of the swathed waistband was a flat flower of palest pink velvet, and the centres of these flowers consisted of flat silken heads of fairy dolls, with crisp, curling golden hair, like stamens. Delicate flowers, with fairy faco centres, have made their appearance oic evening slippers, while a diamante dance vanity bag, with a rose fairy for a fastening, is an idea which will find many imitators.
