Public notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Auckland City Council convened for the purpose and held on THURSDAY, the 25th Septmeber, 1927, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of Council to be held on THURSDAY, the 13th day of October. 1927, in the Council Chamber, Town Hall. Auckland, at 7 o'clock p.m., viz.:— "That the Auckland City Council doth hereby by Special Resolution, intendde to operate as a Special Order, make the following by-law, to be known as the 'Auckland City Bylaw No. 4.' The purport of the by-law Is to provide for the following:— Construction of certain buildings, frontages of back sections in Remuera District, I fees . for signs, vehicles left unattended, vehicles turning to right at certain intersections, horse-drawn vehicles being excluded from part of Queen Street at certain hours, drainage and plumbing and fittings, water charges, dangerous goods license fees, licensing of itinerant purchasers of household refuse, vehicle stands, taximeters, vehicles overtaking on Grafton Bridge, mechanical signals on motor vehicles and use of wind-screens, licensed motor-cab fares, disposal of abattoir offal, abattoir fees, omnibus routes, license fee for barbers and hairdressers' shops, street stalls license fees.
