UNIDENTIFIED MAN.. IXMMWNYJ-HOTTSE TRAGEDY DRUNK LAST NIGHT. A man, aged about 50 years, wa, flfr morning found dead in his bed at WwF House, Hobson Street. The bodv *T removed by the police to the morn? and has not yet been identified. W The man called at Mr. John Caneherti lodging-house early last eveninjTand booked a room for the night. Abort 7.30 p.m. he was found very drunk in, lavatory and was put to "bed. Aβ he did not put in an appearance this morn ing his room was visited, and it was theii discovered that he was dead. There was an empty whisky bottle alongside him. He did not give the proprieteor his name last night, and it is not known whether he is a resident of Auckland or not An inquest will be held. "
