WAIHI FIRE BOARD.
COST UNDER THE AVERAGE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, this day. Referring to the statement made by Mr. Skegg, AucliSand, at the recent meeting of the Waihi Fire Board that the Waihi board had the most expensive brigade in New Zealand, the chairman of the board, Mr. Morgan, points out that the figures show the cost to be under the average for the Dominion.
