Referring to the severing of relations with ; Russia Sir William Joynson-Hicks, the Home Secretary, said the Government had been determined to show that they would remain masters in their own household. When the Government, turned out the Russians there was a terrible outcry by the Labour party against them, but now the Trades Union Congress had followed the example of the Government and had decided that they could not stand the Russians any, longer and would have nothing more to do with them.
