Lord Mayor Of London And Party. FIRST CIVIC VISIT TO ITALY. LONDON, September 18.

At the invitation of the Governor of Rome, the Lord Mayor of London (feir Rowland Blades), accompanied by his wife and daughters and two new sheriffs will pay an official visit to Rome on October 1. The Lord Mayor has in the past officially visited Paris, and on one occasion a visit was paid to Czechoslovakia, but this is the first time a civic party has ever visited Rome.
