INFANTILE PARALYSIS.
EPIDEMIC NEXT TEAR ?
WARNING BY DOCTOR. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CpUSTCHURCH, this day. Epidemics of infantile paralysis have appeared at intervals of four or five years since 1912. On this basis Dr. J. L. Will told the New Zealand Masseurs' Association that another epidemic may be expected in 1929 or 1930. In America there was a definite conclusion that the disease "was carried by air from one person to another from nasal secretions. One means of spreading the disease was by kissing and fondling children. The most efficient control was the isolation of patients a3 soon as the presence of the disease was detected, and the prevention of all gatherings of children.
