CROQUET.
BUCKLAND CROQUET CLUB. OFFICERS ELECTED AND REPORT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, Saturday. At the annual meeting of the Buckland Croquet Club the following officers were elected : —Preside nit, Mrs. R. Wright; vicepresidents, Mesdames H. H. D. Wily and A. F. Hewitt; secretary, Mrs. R. King; treasurer, Mrs. C. Butcher; committee, Mesdames Holland, Greenway, Jefferis, Stringer and Ward-; match committee, Mesdames Greenway. Butcher. Harabrook, Ward and Wright; delegates to South Suburban Croquet Association, Mesdames R. Wright and R. King. Tlhe report for the past season sfhowed that the club had won the Tonkin Cup in the annual competition with the' Tuakau Clubhand the club's teams had made a good showing in the South Suburban Association's competitions. The club had also held various competitions and tournaments Financially, the season ended with a credit balance of over £14.
