BRIDGE TENDER ACCEPTED.
Mr. H. Day presided over the mostttf meeting of the Waitemata County Connefl.
Tenders.—The tender of Wm. Knight it £ 1193 was accepted for rebuilding BomTi Bridge, Henderson Valley, which fU washed away in the floods of December tat The bridge wil be a three-span rolled «tai joist one. The same contractor also has tie •contract for rebuilding Knoxs Bridge, S*uson, on the main Helensville Road, at a price of £ 921. The bridge/was also naabed away in the floods and will be a conoctt structure.
Whenuapal Hall Site.—Advice «U »• ceived of the vesting of control of tM* site in local trustees and it was decided O appoint Messrs. F. W. Grigg, L. F. Oott, J. D. Anderson, A. Clarke and W. J. Sugden U trustees.
